After being built, this 1/3 scale replica of the Sunpu Castle Gate, a gift to Omaha's Lauritzen Gardens, was displayed on the grounds of Sunpu Castle* from mid-March until Mid-April 2005. One festival (cherry bassoon) was held on the castle grounds during this time. It was the Shizuoka cherry blossoms festival hold April 1-3rd, 2005
