Gate Construction Day 4
Before I arrived, the Din-tile (end tile) was installed on the end of main roof beam over the
Sunpu Gate. Today, the tile installation on the main
"beam" over the gate was completed and tile installation on the ridge (side) beams started. A few more Lanterns were placed and work on the landscaping continues.

Red Torri Gate and Mt
Fuji "Shrine"
Early this morning the unpainted "Red Torri" gate was installed at the base of the mini Mt. Fuji. Today, both the Torri Gates and Mt Fuji
"Shrine" received a coat of primer. Note a boy, Taisei Kawai, of one the Japanese worker son had a great time painting the base of the Torri Gate. The Construction of steps partway up the mini Mt. Fuji has begun.
