Gardens & Sunpu Gate Thaw

Saturday March 10th, 2007- After viewing the Stained-Glass Art Exhibit & the
  Spring Flower Show at the Lauritzen Gardens’ Visitor and Educational Center, 
  I walked to the Founders' Garden, stopping at the Arboretum & Bird Sanctuary
  on the way there and the Sunpu Gate area on the way back. 		 The Spring Flower Show

   Its in the 60’s today, Just a week ago, Omaha had a March blizzard with a foot of snow!

Garden Thaw
 
   A week after the March Blizzard of 07, the snow is gone except for a spot here and there.
  The slop north of the Rose Garden still has a lot of snow.

Sunpu Gate Thaw

  Other than a few patches at the base of Mt Fuji, all snow in the Sunpu Gate area is gone. 
  The stone lanterns are covered with burlap for winter protection.
