Yesterday and today, Lauritzen Gardens
has various
railroad theme activities indoor and out. Due to
the near 100 degree heat outside,
I attended the indoor
activities at the Visitor & Education Center |

On display in
the community Room,
Dining Car China from various railroads.
The collection is own by the lady in the middle photos. |
Around the fish
pond in the floral display hall are
Poster and Lithographs from the Union Pacific Museum. |

In the floral
display hall, is a table top "Model O (gauge) Railroad display" by
the
Railand Hobbies O Scale Trains.
In the far right, the man standing is blind, he is feeling the front of
model black stream locomotive. |

This Modular Layout by "Omaha Modular Trains" has a Mountain with bridge,
town, drive-in and a "working" Oil
Field. |

At 3pm, the
Union Pacific Railroad Chorale gave a 45 minute concert of
Patriotic & Railroad Songs, ending with “We can handle it” ad song. |
